Governor Cuomo: Positive Test Results and Death Rate on Downward Trajectory

At his daily press conference, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced health metrics accross the board were looking better than ever.

The three day death average statewide was the lowest it had been since March 21. 27 people died on Sunday from the novel coronavirus.

Accross New York City 1.3% of coronavirus tests were returning positive with the same percentage in Brooklyn. These low rates of positive tests come in spite of weeks of protests and other gatherings.
