Governor Cuomo Extends NY on Pause Till May 28
Governor Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order on Thursday extending the NY on Pause act for another two weeks, till May 28. The order keeps parts of New York State shut for businesses as the State recovers from the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
Regions of New York that have met the 7 metrics set forth by the Governor are set to reopen, but New York City will now need to wait till at least May 28, unless it reaches all 7 metrics prior to that date.
Some restrictions have been lifted across the state, including operating any retail business via in-store pickup or drop off. Other outdoor activities, such as construction, fishing may also operate with strict social distancing.
