Gov. Cuomo Announces Fines For all MTA Riders Without a Mask

All MTA subway and bus riders are required to wear face coverings and those violating the order will now face a fine of $50, Gov Cuomo announced on Thursday.
Starting Monday, anyone refusing to wear a face-covering will be hit with a summons by the NYPD or MTA police.
Cuomo said this was put in place because of the few who aren’t cooperating with the new ridership guidelines.
“No rider has the right to endanger fellow riders by putting themselves above the law and refusing to wear a mask,” Cuomo tweeted.
