By Y.M. Lowy

Want to see fascinating menorahs being lit this Chanukah? This year, giant Menorahs will illuminate locations around the city, drawing crowds who are celebrating Chanukah.

Here’s where to find the biggest and brightest Menorah lightings in NYC.

In Midtown Manhattan, Chabad’s massive menorah at 509 Fifth Avenue is lit nightly at 5:00 pm (with a different schedule for Shabbos). On Thursday, Zos Chanukah, a Giant Ice Menorah will be lit.

At Grand Army Plaza in Manhattan, the city’s largest menorah—standing 32 feet tall and weighing 4,000 pounds—will shine brightly near Central Park.

In Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza, the menorah lighting will be enhanced by a lively concert featuring Nissim Black on the first night of Chanukah, starting at 4:00 pm.

Other notable menorah lightings will take place at Times Square, Bryant Park, Hudson Yards, and Pershing Square by Grand Central. These events include music, donuts, and a sense of achdus as Yidden come together to celebrate the Neis of Chanukah.
