Frozen Zone Alert: NYPD Announces Road and Sidewalk Closures Ahead of Planned Protest

By BoroPark24 Staff

During a visit to bus managers and school administrators at 14th Avenue and 50th Street, the NYPD 66th Precinct’s Commanding Officer and Community Affairs team shared key details regarding tomorrow’s planned Palestinian protests and the resulting traffic restrictions.

A frozen zone will be implemented as a precaution, restricting both vehicle and pedestrian access to parts of the block starting at 1 PM. This measure is being put in place to ensure safety and maintain order during the demonstration.

Residents and commuters are strongly advised to avoid parking on the block that day to prevent any disruptions or the risk of being unable to access their vehicles.

EXPO UPDATE: The Israel Real Estate Expo has been rescheduled to a new venue, ensuring it is no longer situated among many mosdos buildings. The event will take place tomorrow, with the exact location to be disclosed only after each attendee has been individually confirmed.

"This is not what we intended or planned. Our expo was never meant to cause an uproar in Boro Park," a spokesperson for Getter Realty told BoroPark24, expressing frustration over the situation but emphasizing their commitment to coordinating this important event for the residents.
