Frigg Silicone Pacifiers Recalled as Potential Safety Hazards

The Frigg manufacturer, of Denmark, is recalling its popular silicone pacifiers after some parents saw that the tops of pacifiers were partly detaching from the pacifiers' bases. Frigg fears that the tops of pacifiers will completely detach and create choking hazards.
“The recall affects all silicone pacifiers sold between April 1 and Dec. 12, 2021,” Mushie, a company that sells Frigg pacifiers, said in a statement that also said that the recall does not apply to rubber or latex pacifiers.
Mushie also said that customers who purchased Silicon Frigg pacifiers, which are sold at Target and Amazon, should return them to the stores where they were purchased.
“If you have any Silocone Frigg pacifiers, please remove it from your child, dispose of it and contact us at support@mushie.com for collection and reimbursement,” Mushie said.
