Four More States Added to Travel Advisory List

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced four additional states added to the travel advisory list that requires travelers to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival anywhere in the tri-state area. 

Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio are now among the states under the travel advisory, and all visitors from there will be required to quarantine upon arrival.

Quarantine applies to any state with a positive infection rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or an area with a 10% or higher positivity rate, also, over a 7-day rolling average.

Cuomo said New York will serve a fine of $2,000 to any traveler who leaves an in-state airport without submitting a form that declares where they are coming from and where they are headed.

States and territories on the list include:

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin
