Food Delivery Worker Robbed at Knifepoint on 9th Avenue

By Yehudit Garmaise

The NYPD are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing at knifepoint a delivery worker, who was bringing take-out food to 933 46th St., at 11:45pm.

The suspect, a white, male, who is six feet tall, 145 pounds, and was wearing all black last night, appeared while the delivery worker was waiting for several minutes in a dark alley to deliver food that he was holding in a white plastic bag, reveals security camera footage provided to BoroPark24.

After flashing a knife and telling the food delivery worker to put his hands up, the perpetrator patted down and searched the victim for valuables, before stealing $400 and a cell phone.

Additionally, just before stealing the food delivery worker’s e-bike, the thief told his victim to run away. The perpetrator then approached the bike, with the white take-out food bag still hanging from its handlebars, and fled the scene, by riding the bike down 46th Street towards 10 Avenue.

The victim did not report any injuries, the NYPD told BoroPark24, and the investigation is ongoing.
