First potential Heat Wave of the Season Forecast for Early Next Week

Boro Park - The first heat wave of 2020 is forecast for early this coming week.
Temperatures on Saturday are forecast to be in the mid 90s, continuing on Sunday and Monday with heat indices around 105 degrees, according to weather enthusiast Shia Glick.
The criteria for a heat advisory could be met as early as Saturday afternoon and last through Monday or Tuesday. A heatwave criteria is when the temperatures are 90 or above for three consecutive days.
The heat and humidity will likely continue into Tuesday with heat indices in the mid to upper 90s.
