Fire Extinguishers Release Powder Above Gas Pumps at 11th Ave Gas Station

Two people were injured after fire extinguishers released powder above the gas pumps at the BP gas station on 11th Ave and 60th Street on Wednesday evening.

The two injured were transported to a nearby hospital by Hatzolah. FDNY responded to the scene as well, but there appeared to be no fire at the gas station. It is unknown what triggered the extinguishers to release the white powder.

Many nearby cars were seen covered in white powder on Wednesday evening outside the gas station.
