Fire Badly Damages House on 17th Avenue, No Injuries

Boro Park - A fire that broke out in a house minutes before the sonset of Shabbos caused heavy damage to the basement but its sole occupant made it out safely.

The 2-alarm fire erupted in the house on 17th Avenue and 60th Street in the basement, where an older single, who is Jewish, lives. It caused significant damage to the residential area. 

The occupant made it out on time and was uninjured. Firefighters put out the fire.

The fire started again on Shabbos morning and was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
