Feverish Preparations For Historic Belzer Shabbos in Boro Park

By BoroPark24 Staff
Askonim from the Belzer chassidus in America are consumed with the preparations for a historic Shabbos in Boro Park this coming parashas Tetzaveh-Zachor. It will be led by Harav Hatzadik Rav Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, the son of the Belzer Ruv. Compounding the history of this Shabbos is the fact that Rav Aharon Mordechai has not spent a Shabbos in America for fourteen years.
All the tefillos throughout Shabbos will be held in the gigantic hall located in the new Belzer Talmud Torah on 37th street. Thousands of Belzer Chassidim from throughout New York and New Jersey are expected to participate in this special Shabbos.
The occasion of his visit is the ambitious project to expand the Belzer boys camp in America—an ongoing project that is proceeding at a rapid pace in Woodridge New York throughout this winter, and aims to have the camp ready for use in under a year since the groundbreaking last summer.
A special evening for big donors to the project will take place in Staten Island with the participation of Rav Aharon Mordechai, shlit”a.
