Fatal accident in Glen Wild leaves 1 dead other seriously injured

 A serious accident in Glen Wild left one person dead and two others injured early Sunday morning. 

The one car accident happened around 3:40am on Old Glen Wild Road near Marsh Road, when apparently the driver lost control of his car and crashed. 

One of the passengers was pronounced deceased on the scene after efforts by Catskills Hatzalah & EMS to revive him were to no luck, another passenger was severely injured and transported to Orange Regional after being trapped in the car for almost a hour, the driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital after sustaining minor injuries. 

Multiple fire departments and EMS personnel along with Catskills Hatzalah operated on scene. 

Police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident and no further information is available at this time. CSE was not needed,
