False Alarm of Armed Individual in 39th Street Train Station

Last night, shortly before 10:00 pm, a caller made an emergency report to the NYPD,  claiming he had seen a male with a gun drawn in the 39th Street train station, located at 9th Avenue.

As per the caller, the suspect looked to be about 25 years old and fled from the station in a white car with an associate.

Upon arrival to the station, the NYPD did not find any evidence to back up the story. As per our reporters on the scene, no search was launched, as it was most likely a false alarm.
