End of an Era: Paradise Manor Demolished to Make Way for Grand New Satmar Shul

On May 2, 2023, Paradise Manor at New Utrecht and 58th Street experienced a major fire that led to the closure of the Simcha hall, after serving Boro Park for many years.

In August of 2024, the Satmar Kehilla officially signed the contract to complete the purchase of the hall, and build up a nice beautiful big Shul for the Kehila and entire neighborhood.

Today, tractors were on site, demolishing the old hall to prepare for the construction of a new and grand Satmar Shul. The Satmar Kehillah intends to transform the site into an impressive new Shul. The plans include a spacious Beis Medrash, side rooms for various minyanim, a beautiful mikvah, and a designated learning room.
