Emunas Yisroel Prepares For Ksivas Sefer Torah

With much excitement and anticipation, the Emunas Yisroel kehilla in Boro Park has announced that they will celebrate the start of the writing for a new sefer Torah this upcoming Motzei Shabbos, Shabbos Beshalach.

The Torah will be written by all the congregants in memory of the Emunas Yisroel Rov, Reb Moshe Wolfson zt”l, who passed away just a few months ago. The ksivas sefer Torah event will be held in Boro Park and led by the Rebbe’s grandson, the current Emunas Yisroel Ruv. 

The ksivas sefer Torah will be combined with the neicha l’nishmaso project, with the goal to raise money to support the Emunas Yisroel community in Beitar, which is in the middle of building a new shul. The Rebbe’s grandchild, Reb Shmuel David Hardt, who is the rebbe in Beitar, will deliver a speech at the event l’eili nishmas his grandfather. 

The new sefer Torah will be dedicated to the main Emunas Yisroel shul in Boro Park upon its completion.
