As reported by BoroPark24, a 46-year-old woman was caught on surveillance footage placing a brick marked with a swastika on a Tesla Cybertruck parked on Ditmas Avenue. She then threw trash and a black garbage bag onto the vehicle before fleeing the scene on a scooter.
The woman was later arrested and arraigned on hate crime charges, but has since been released.
After video footage of the incident went viral on X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk commented on the post, stating, “She committed a hate crime.”
