Drunken Driver Arrested for Hit and Run Accident

A drunken driver was arrested by NYPD following an accident at 15th Avenue and 56th Street with another vehicle after fleeing the scene.

The suspect crashed into a Shomrim volunteer’s vehicle and after noticing the accident the driver who appeared to be drunk started fleeing the scene.

He was followed by the Shomrim volunteer until the NYPD showed up and placed the suspect under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident. There were no injuries reported.
