Drivers Seen Passing Flashing Red Lights of School Bus
Two drivers were seen passing a school bus that has stopped on 18th Avenue to pickup children headed to school.
Video shows the bus with its flashing red lights on, on 18th Avenue near 55th street, when two vehicles cut off a car behind the bus and passed the bus on the side.
This comes just a day after a 4-year-old child was Niftar in an accident right outside his Yeshiva.
According to New York State law, when a stopped school bus flashes its red lights, traffic that approaches from either direction must stop before it reaches the bus, with drivers facing a minimum fine of $250 for failure to stop.
