BROOKLYN WEATHER

Dozens Support Heshy, Yelling, “No Heshy, No Peace”

Dozens of supporters came out to 13th Ave. and 41st St. to protest for Heshy Tischler’s arrest tonight for inciting violence during last week’s protests.

Car horns blared on the street, while a man holding an electric megaphone led a crowd behind him in chanting, “No Heshy, No Peace.”

Approximately 12 police officers stand by on 13th Ave., looking unamused, but allowing the protest to continue, unimpeded.

In addition, many police cars have gathered at 17th Ave. and 65th St. in response to the protests.

Tischler hosts the “Just Enough Heshy Show Live” on Wednesdays at 9pm on WSNR, and he became a local hero after he joining City Councilman Kalman Yeger, State Senator Simcha Felder, and Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein in using large wire cutters to open the locked gates of Brooklyn’s children’s parks and playgrounds that had been closed by the city due to COVID-19.
