De Blasio Pays Shiva Visit to Family of Satmar Rosh Hakohal Reb Mayer Rispler Z”l

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio visited the shiva home of the Satmar Rosh Hakohal Reb Mayer Rispler Z”l, in Williamsburg today. 

Reb Mayer Rispler Z”l passed away on Friday at 70 years old from the highly contagious coronavirus. 

As an important figure amongst the Orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn, and as someone who pushed for the community to follow guidelines, de Blasio felt obliged to pay his respects.
