Cuomo Adds 3 More States to NY Quarantine List, Along with Puerto Rico and Washington D.C.
On Tuesday, Governor Cuomo announced that New York’s coronavirus travel advisory now applies to 34 states, up from 31 last week with the addition of Puerto Rico and Washington D.C.
All states and territories included in the list have an infection rate above 10 cases per 100,000 people or a total of 10 percent positive test results and are required to quarantine for 14 days upon entering. Both systems of measurement are assessed based on a seven-day rolling average.
The new states are Illinois, Kentucky and Minnesota and include Puerto Rico and Washington D.C.
