CRUCIAL SHORTAGE: Maimonides and Yad Ephraim to Hold Urgent Blood Drive

It has become a tradition of Bein Hazmanim in Boro Park—only the need has never been greater.
For years, Bachurim and yungeleit have been utilizing their days off bein hazmanim of Pesach and Sukkos to participate in a blood drive hosted by Yad Ephraim to benefit Maimonides Hospital, in the center of our Boro Park community.
But this year is different. The covid-19 pandemic, and the recent uptick in cases, have depleted the blood reserves at Maimonides, resulting in a shortage the likes of which Maimonides has never experienced.
The community is asked to come out for this lifesaving event, Thursday, September 30 (one day after Yom Tov). Our hospitalized brothers and sister are in desperate need of blood which will save lives.
The event will take place from 1:00-9:30 pm on Thursday, for men and women (in separate halls). A Nourishing spread of lunch and dinner will be served.
