Community Board Meeting Ahead of Pesach

On Friday morning, the annual Community Board meeting was held ahead of Pesach. Topics discussed included Sreifas Chometz locations, Yom Tov patrols, road work in this busy season, garbage cleanup on Erev Pesach, and safe lithium battery disposal.
The meeting, coordinated by Community Board 12, featured representatives from the NYPD 66th Precinct, Community Affairs, Sanitation Department, EMS, FDNY, DOT, Hatzolah, Shomrim, Chaverim, and Misaskim. Rabbi Gluck, Yoel Lefkowitz from the Attorney General’s Office, Askan Berish Freilich, and Yanky Eisdorfer were also in attendance.
The meeting provided an opportunity to proactively address these important issues ahead of the Erev Pesach rush.
