Community Board 12 Releases Pre-Pesach Sreifas Chometz Map

With Pesach just days away, Community Board 12 has released its official sreifas chometz map, detailing designated locations for burning chometz throughout the neighborhood.

In coordination with city agencies, including DSNY, FDNY, NYPD and Hatzolah, Shomrim and Chaveirim, the board also provided updated sanitation schedules to accommodate the increased trash disposal ahead of Yom Tov. Recycling collection will begin Thursday night at midnight, while regular garbage pickup will take place from Friday morning through Shabbos, ensuring all households have adequate service before Pesach.

Residents are encouraged to review the map and follow all safety guidelines to ensure a smooth and secure pre-Yom Tov preparation.
