Closures and Changes in Observance of Presidents Day

YS Gold
The third Monday in February is the day when Washington’s Birthday is observed, and this brings closures and alternate schedules for many organizations around the city.
All nonessential government offices, such as DMV, federal, state, and municipal courts, post offices, and many banks will be closed.
There will be no sanitation pickup for trash, recycling, and compost and no alternate side parking (meters, however, must be fed).
The New York City Subway will operate on a Saturday schedule with some planned service changes due to scheduled maintenance and repair work.
