Chief Michael Kemper, Leaving Brooklyn South to Be New Chief of Transit

Chief Michael Kemper, Patrol Borough Brooklyn South Commanding Officer since August 2, 2021, announced during tonight's Flatbush Shomrim pre-Chanukah party that he will be leaving his position to become the new Chief of Transit. 

Chief Kemper, who received a dollar from the Rebbe while stationed in Crown Heights in 1992, came to Brooklyn South with thirty years of service to the Department, having served in numerous patrol and Detective Bureau assignments.
