Following the $2 Trillion CARES Act that passed congress, otherwise knows as the Coronavirus stimulus bill, that will provide many Americans with with some money to assist during these difficult times, a loan Gmach has launched to assist in getting money to people’s hands before Pesach.

While the stimulus money will likely arrive after Pesach, Gmach Chaim Vchesed will allow Boro Parker’s to borrow up to $2,000 to assist during these dire times.

The stimulus bill will provide up to $1,200 for each head of household and up to $500 for each child, for those making up to $99,000 (or $198,000 for those who file jointly). The maximum amount will be provided for those making up to $75,000 for individual or double for a joint filing, and will gradually lower till the $99,000 mark. It will be based off the 2019 tax return, or 2018 for those that haven’t filed 2019 returns yet.
