Chabad Kinus Hashluchim Event will be Held Virtually for the First Time in Forty Years

For the first time since the Kinus Hashluchim began four decades ago, Chabad will not be holding a live event due to COVID-19, crownheights.info reported.
Every Year, Chabad puts together a live event dedicated that spans over five days. It is a fundraiser dedicated to shluchim around the world. This year due to the current health situation, a virtual program has been planned.
There will be presentations from keynote speakers, greetings from world leaders, practical and informative breakout sessions, and highlights from previous Kinusim.
The banquet, considered the highlight of the event, will as well be held vertically.
Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, the Rabbi who originally announced the events change, said shluchim should gather locally over shabbos to sing and fabreng during this celebration of Kinus Hashluchim.
