Car Fire Erupts Under Subway Tracks on 65th Street

A car fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. on 65th Street and New Utrecht Avenue, directly beneath the subway tracks, sending flames and smoke billowing into the night.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and prevent any potential spread to nearby structures or the elevated train tracks. The cause of the blaze remains unknown at this time, and no injuries have been reported.
