Car Engulfed in Flames on 16th Avenue

A car burst into flames on 16th Avenue and 46th Street, causing heavy smoke throughout Boro Park. 

Relatives of the owner of the car spoke with BoroPark24, saying that the car's owner immediately called emergency services upon noticing smoke coming from the car. Unfortunately, the car exploded into flames before help could arrive. 

At around 3:45 the fire was brought under control and extinguished.

The area should be avoided due to traffic being blocked by emergency personnel at the scene.
