Captured Moment: The Run on Municipal Bank

YS GOLD
This week’s captured moment takes us to the center of Boro Park, to a building that we have profiled in recent weeks. It was the home of Municipal Bank in the 1920’s, and in 1924 a run took place on this bank begun by a rumor that an employee ran off with the funds.
Can any our readers identify the location?
___
Answer to last week’s captured moment:
As so many of our readers correctly identified, the Shul in question is the Congregation Sons of Judah/Bnei Yehuda on 16th Avenue and 53rd street which has stood there for more than 105 years and continues to faithfully serve our community.
