Captured Moment: The Rebbe’s Host

Back in the 1920’s, the home pictured here served as the host for the Tolna-Viznitzer Rebbe when he came to Boro Park for a Shabbos.
Decades later, the property was turned into a shul by relatives of the Rebbe, likely not knowing the history of the property.

As so many of our readers have correctly identified, the property featured last week in this column has been Citi Bank for many years now, located on the corner of 55th Street and 13th Avenue.
