Captured Moment: The New York Telephone Company

YS GOLD
This week’s captured moment takes us to Thirteenth Avenue, Boro Park’s big retail promenade, and to the New York Telephone Company branch which was conveniently opened there in the 1920’s.
The building still stands today in the center of 13th Avenue.
Can any of our readers pinpoint the location?

Answer to last week’s captured moment:
The toy store in question is the Toys & Things on 16th Avenue and 56th Street. A loyal reader has submitted the following descrition about the establishment:
The iconic store "Toys 'n' Things", located at the corner of 56th Street and 16th Avenue, known for its owner "Rachamim" a Sephardic Jewish refugee who fled from the dictatorship Iran and immigrated to the United States where he opened up the famous store "Toys 'n' Things" over 40 years ago in Boro Park. His store was unique; it sold a wide variety of "chachkes," Jewish newspapers, cigarettes, coffee, and nosh, and this week closed its doors. The store was a beloved spot for bochurim from yeshivas nearby to buy nosh drinks during recess, also businesspeople running to work buying a hot coffee, and teachers from the public school across the street. But now the iconic store appears to be part of Boro Park's history.
