Captured Moment: The Meat Store

This week’s captured moment takes us to Boro Park’s lower avenues, and to a store where we can clearly see ‘basar kasher” in the window. Incredibly, the location today also serves as the location for a store that sells meat and fleishig provisions.

Answer to last week’s captured moment: The preschool. 

The preschool in question—as many of our readers have identified—is the building at 1801 55th Street, where the children of Yeshiva Karlin Stolin come to learn each day. The yeshiva is now in its 75th year, and is Boro Park’s oldest existing yeshiva.
