The school and catering hall in question is the Satmar Girls School on 14th Avenue and 53rd Street, and the legendary catering hall in the basement is Ateres Chaya. This site has been a public school for more than one hundred years even before it was taken over by this institution, back when Boro Park was called Blythebourne.
