People who walk by Congregation Beth El will notice the cornerstone which reads “Morris Kulok.” 

A wealthy clothing manufacturer, Kulok was the president of Congregation Beth El.

He resided a few blocks away, in the home pictured here.

Answer to last week’s captured moment: 

The Ohel Sholom Shul was the Yemenite shul on 12th Avenue and 45th Street which stood there for decades. 

The shul has recently been torn down, and will soon become a magnificent Kollel.
