This week’s captured moment takes us to the first home of the famed Yeshiva Etz Chaim, which stood for decades on the corner of 13th Avenue and 50th Street.

Tiferes Israel Anshei Sfard was located at 5621 Fort Hamilton Parkway, and Rabbis Israel Schorr and Yehoshua Heschel Babad served as Rabbonim in the little shtiebel. Today, it serves as a laundromat.
