BP Chaveirim Hosts Appreciation Event for Dedicated Volunteers

On Tuesday night, a grand appreciation event was held at The Premiere Hall to honor BP Chaveirim volunteers for their unwavering dedication and service to the community.
At the event the attendees were 66 XO, Mike Romero head of 66pct community affairs, Deputy Chief Richie Taylor, Yanky Esdorfer, Officer Mayor Green from community affairs, Sholime Riger assistant manager of Simcah Eichenstein where Simcah couldn't attend as he was in Albany where session is ongoing—Liaison Shloime Levy, Boro Park Shomrim coordinators, Beri Spitzer of CB12, Jacob Eisdorfer, Special Advisor to the Brooklyn Borough President, Pesach Osina, Senior Liaison to the NYC Council Speaker, Ira Tennenbaum from NYCEM, and many others.
A special highlight of the evening was the recognition of Tony, the devoted Shabbos Goy, who volunteers every week and remains available on Yom Tov to assist families in need, often providing transportation to and from hospitals, even for long distances.
Chaveirim also honored over 30 volunteers who each responded to 750+ calls in the past year, with some handling over 1,000 calls individually. Altogether, BP Chaveirim responded to nearly 20,000 calls this past year alone.
The evening featured entertainment by David Blatt, and as a token of gratitude, all volunteers received brand-new, high-visibility raincoats and a beautiful Havdalah set, generously sponsored by Autopilot Leasing.
