BoroPark24 Status Leads to Arrest

An individual who spat on a 13-year-old and made antisemitic remarks was arrested as a result of a tip sent following an alert on BoroPark24's status.

The incident happened on Thursday, October 17, at 7:14 pm, in front of 1164-47th St, and the NYPD Crime Stoppers hung signs in the Boro Park streets with a photo of the individual and details of the incident, asking anyone who might have information on this individual to send it in for a $3,500 reward. 

BoroPark24 reporters, who noticed the posters on the Boro Park streets, took photos and it was posted on our status, and this morning, the NYPD arrested the suspect after someone who saw the BoroPark24 status sent in the tip via Shomrim, who shared the information with the police, leading to the arrest.

With this, one more antisemite is off our streets.
