Boro Park Welcomes New Trees

Local residents have spotted workers from the Parks Department around Boro Park in the last few days, planting some new greenery in the neighborhood. 

As reported back in May, the NY Parks Department had promised that 9,300 new trees would be planted in several New York City neighborhoods to help improve the environment. 

 The trees seem to have come to Boro Park as well, as workers can be seen around town planting new trees on several streets.
