Boro Park Resident Wins $3 Million In NY Lottery

One lucky Boro Park resident has won $3 million in the latest New York Lottery Multiplier Craze scratch-off game.
A Hershel Stern of Boro Park bought the winning ticket from a scratch off game in the W Sunrise 99 Cents Market located at 4215 Ft Hamilton Pkwy.
After taxes and withholdings, Stern was left with a little over $1.3 million.
"This is the first time we’ve had such a big winner," the store owner told BoroPark24 this morning. "I don’t remember anything this big, even in Brooklyn - this is big money!"
The store’s door also features another winning announcement from some time ago for a $2.16 million prize, among many other smaller ones. "Yes, a lot of people come here to buy their lottery tickets," she added, marveling at the collection of winning posters on display.
