Boro Park Rabbonim Approve Mass Yom Tefilla for Monday

Boro Park - Amid an unprecedented closure of yeshivas and limiting shul attendance, a group of rabbanim in Boro Park held an emergency meeting Motzei Shabbos and decided to hold a mass tefilla gathering in a show of unity.
The mass tefilla, scheduled for Monday, is contingent on getting permits from the city. This may be more difficult than usual since Boro Park is in a red zone, where gatherings are banned.
Organizers have reached out to say the Yom Tefilla is not a protest, and local leaders have gone to extreme lengths making sure it is not perceived as one.
If the tefilla goes through, it would be the only time in memory such a thing occurred in the quiet neighborhood.
The meeting, which took a few hours, was attended by about a dozen rabbanim from Boro Park's largest kehillas and administrators of the majority of the neighborhood's mosdos.
