Body Of Teenage Girl Found In New York Harbor

The body of a teenage girl was found in the waters of Sunset Park’s Bush Terminal Piers Park, at 1st Ave and 43rd St right outside Boro Park, early Sunday morning and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police identified the body as Nancy Zheng, a fifteen-year-old girl who lived just a few blocks away from the pier.

The NYPD did not share details of how she ended up in the water, and the body was transferred to the Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. 

An investigation is currently ongoing.
