BDE: Reb Shlomo Halevi Friedman, Co-Founder of Chessed of Boro Park

We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Shloime Friedman, z"l, a longtime askan for chessed in the community. He was in his early sixties. 

The niftar was in Chevra Hatzolah, and co-founded Chessed of Boro Park, an organization which provides rides to hospitals for the loves ones of hospital patients. Acquaintances describe a man who lived and breathed chessed, and would do anything to help another person. 

In recent years, he was unwell and confined to his home. He was niftar in the early hours of Wednesday morning. 

The levaya took place in front of the Tosher Shul on Wednesday morning where Reb Shloime was given a kavod acharon by many who knew and admired him.
