BDE: Reb Nota Tzvi  Appelbaum z”l

Boro Park - We are saddened to inform of the passing of Reb Nathan Appelbaum, a military veteran who made Boro Park his home, who was niftar on Sunday evening. He was 97.

The levaya will take place at 12 p.m. Monday in the Shomrei Hadas chapel. 

Born in Brooklyn in 1923 to Morris and Rachel Appelbaum, Nota Tzvi served in World War II and then returned home, marrying and setting up a family. He supported them by his work or the U.S. Postal Service.

He was niftar at Mount Sinai’s South Nassau unit in Oceanside, N.Y.

Kevura will be at the Beth David cemetery on Elmont.
