BDE: Reb Duvid Mordechai Lebron, z”l
We are deeply saddened to inform you of the untimely petirah
of Reb Dovid Mordechai Lebron, z”l, an ardent Belzer chossid, a yerei Shomayim,
and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was 54 years of age.
Acquaintances recall an ish yoshor, a man who was
straight as an arrow—in his meticulous avodas Hashem, and in his interpersonal
dealings. His workmates in the diamond industry remember a rare individual who
was honest with every penny and with every minute.
During the weekdays he frequented the Roslovitzer Beis
Medrash on 17th Avenue, and on Shabbos he davened in the
Belzer Shul on 51St Street, led by Rav Osher Eckstein. His entire family
were ardent Belzer chassidim, mekushar with heart and soul to Belz.
Reb Dovid Mordechai was a ba’al yisurim—and he was mekabel
the yisurim b’ahavah. He never complained, and he was always joyful.
He was stricken with an illness about one year ago, and this
morning he succumbed to the illness.
The levaya will take place in Shomrei Hadas Chapels at 12:00
today.
