BDE: Reb Duvid Aryeh Shor z"l

Boro Park - We are saddened to inform of the petira of Reb Duvid Aryeh Shor, an immigrant from Eretz Yisroel who lived in Boro Park for the past 30 years, who was hospitalized with the coronavirus. He was 66.

Reb Duvid had a wealth of knowledge in many areas and had a wide circle of friends. He was devoted with all his heart and soul to the Stoliner rebbe and was a respected member of the kehilla in Boro Park.

Reb Duvid was a son of the famed winemaking Shor family in Eretz Yisroel. He would also write columns in the Hamevaser newspaper in Eretz Yisroel, which is run by his nephew.

He contacted the coronavirus a few days ago and was hospitalized. His condition worsened and he was niftar on Monday morning. 

He is survived by his wife, three sons and two daughters.

The levaya will be at the Chesed Shel Emes beis hachaim in Woodridge, where he will be buried temporarily until he can be transferred to Eretz Yisroel.
