BDE: R’ Yaakov Schiff, z”l

We regret to inform you of the passing of R’ Yaakov Schiff, z”l, a longtime Boro Park resident, and a beloved member of the Stuchiner chassidus. He was 73 years of age. 

The niftar is remembered as a torah’dige balebos who would dedicate many hours to learning. 

For many years, he was the gabbai in Stuchin, in which capacity he exhibited sensitive to everyone in the kehillah. R’ Yaakov was an incredible ba’al tefillah who would inspire the entire chassidus with his davening. He would daven for the amud during the yomim noraim with incredible heart. 

He was an incredible father and grandfather, deeply beloved by his family. 

He was unwell in the last few years, but remained b’simcha throughout his ordeal. 

The levaya will take place at the Stuchiner Beis Medrash on 50th street at 1:00pm.
