BDE: R’ Reuven Zev (Randy) Lieberman

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Lieberman, a beloved member of the Boro Park community. He was 64 years of age.

The niftar was well-known in the neighborhood, and he would frequent the Skverer Beis Medrash on 47th Street.

He worked for the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), but his true love was learning Torah. “He would spend an increasing amount of time learning,” recalls one person who knew him, “And he was an avid talmid of Rav Eli Stefansky’s Daf Yomi shiur, which he would spend much time watching. 

“He was a pleasant person who enjoyed interacting with people, and always had a nice word for everyone,” recalled one Skverer chossid. 

The Levaya will place at 12:00 at Shomrei Hadas Chapels.  The public is asked to attend the Levaya and give a kavod achron to R’ Reuven Zev.
